I've built product and product teams on 3 continents.
I was Head Of Product at 54 Collective (originally Founders Factory Africa). I led a team of PMs, designers, and engineers helping dozens of early stage African startups get to product-market fit in some of the toughest sectors like AgTech, Logistics, InsurTech (but also nicer ones like Fintech. I love Fintech).
I was also Head Of Product at Babban Gona, where we leveraged internal tech to optimize operations for delivering services to farmers at scale.
At Moniepoint - one of Africa's first 10 unicorns - I was Head Of Product for Fraud & Anti-Money Laundering. Lots of fun blending internal-facing tech tools and ML models to stop the bad guys.
I'm currently in Wise's Finance Product team, building the rails for Wise Platform, our offering for connecting financial institutions globally to our instant international payments system.
I am the property of a wife, 2 sons, 4 cats, and a revolving cast of 1 to 4 foster cats at any moment.
Fun fact: I am actually a Chief (of Okochiri, a Kingdom in Nigeria).
